OK, Seriously...Where did the last month go? I can't believe it's already time for another one of these posts. Charlotte is EIGHT MONTHS OLD today. She's growing up so quickly! The picture above is from this past week. We took a cruise with my family to Belize, Honduras, Mexico, and Guatemala. I was nervous about trying to cruise with Charlotte, but it went great thanks to all of the helping hands! She stayed in my parents cabin the entire cruise which was a nice break for us :) She was incredibly flexible with her schedule, which I had not anticipated. However, I will say she's more than happy to be in her own crib :)
8 Month Update:
- Pulling herself up on EVERYTHING. This child loves to stand
- Starting making really funny noises...like making a motor sound. It's hilarious
- Rocking on her knees, but there's still no crawling! (I'm still more than OK with this!)
- Eating beginner finger foods, mainly Puffs and Cheerios. She's great with her pincer grasp. It amazes me how quickly babies learn to do these things
- I'm not sure how much she weighs, but she's heavy...how am I going to carry her up the stairs when I'm more pregnant?!?
- Her upper teeth have been trying to come in, but still aren't here. Poor baby. I pray that these come soon for her sake
- She's started tilting her head from one side to the other to see things from another angle. This can occupy her for a long time :)
- When we play music she bobs up and down and side to side...talk about hilarious! Anyone who was on the cruise can attest to this new trick...hours of entertainment :)
